there is a topic in blueserver3 forums about how to advise smokers to stop smokin ...

and here's one of the replies from some smoker :

When a smoker wants to quit, he will know when. It is not up to you to stop him from smoking. You may hate smokers but what have they done wrong to you? You can say that they die faster but don't you think that they don't know smoking can cause lungs cancer and death? They have something on in their mind and its unanswerable. Let them be whatever they want. Its their life and not yours. Yeah you are right, smoker are forcing themselves into the death valley. This is their journey of life, their lifestyles. Why must you give a damm about it? Can't you just let it be and accept it? Smoking is not illegal or something right? I know you don't want them to die so fast. Strange as it seems, why are ppl smoking when they know they will die faster? Can you answer me? I can't even asnwer myself.


out of almost 80 replies to that thread , this was the one and only reply i read . then i immediately started typing a response because this guy's post was so absurd that i couldnt be delayin anymore time to reply . below is what i posted there .


we all know smoking brings very bad effects on our lungs .

some of us knows that it can trigger asthma attacks with ease . im asthmatic , and i know this for sure .

and im sure we all know why its called SMOKING ...

the smoke from the cigarette does NOT only affect the smoker alone !!

BE FUCKIN AWARE THAT SMOKING KILLS THOSE AROUND YOU AS WELL !!

so many morons dont seem to realize this fact .

there was once i was in a zoo in malacca ... family trip . not really 100% zoo but wateva well just pretend its a zoo .

after an animal performance show everyone left the stage area ( obviously ) . and u noe what ? so many morons started smoking in the crowd . it was practically more packed than traffic jams in KL on weekends .

AND YET HE SMOKE . tens or even hundreds of people will be affected by this !! babies , kids , sick people , old people , asthmatics , even the ANIMALS will be affected just because of one selfish ignorant bastard .

why else do you think we non-smokers encourage smokers to stop smokin ?

u think people like me give a fuck about their welfare ? about people like that who dun even take care of their own health ?

NO ... we're advising them to stop for the sake of ourselves , our family members and our beloved friends . i could care less if the hardcore smoker dies , heck i might even go to his funeral and yell `GOOD RIDDANCE , BITCH !!`


to all those smokers readin this post ... yea u may not giv a fuck about other people's health conditions ...

which is why no one will give a fuck about YOU if u continue thinkin that way .
